Association Aries is a Bulgarian non-profit organisation based in Plovdiv, working to empower people through education, volunteering, inclusion and European cooperation.
We create opportunities for young people and adult learners to develop skills, participate actively in their communities and connect with Europe.
Dobromir Trifonov is the founder and Chairperson of the Management Board of Association Aries. Since 2004, he has led the organisation’s work in community development, social inclusion, youth participation and civic engagement.
With long-standing experience in project coordination, public administration and local community initiatives, he has supported activities focused on education, volunteering, equal opportunities and active citizenship. His work is guided by the belief that people should have access to meaningful opportunities regardless of their background, social situation or personal challenges.
At Association Aries, Dobromir provides strategic leadership, oversees organisational development and supports the implementation of projects that strengthen inclusion, European cooperation and community participation. His vision is to build a more active, connected and supportive society through education, partnership and civic responsibility.
Our work is driven by people with experience in education, inclusion, community development, youth work, culture and civic participation. Together, our team supports learners, volunteers and local communities through meaningful projects, practical guidance and European cooperation.
