Today participants from Association Aries officially began the Erasmus+ project Building Bridges: Strengthening International Capacity, Developing Key Competences, and Promoting Inclusion Through Erasmus+ in Komotini, Greece.
The group visited the offices of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Rodopi, the hosting organisation for the ten-day adult learning mobility. The participants were warmly welcomed by the host team and received Erasmus+ branded gifts marking the beginning of the international cooperation.
The first programme activities focused on introductions, orientation and ice-breaking sessions. Through interactive exercises, participants had the opportunity to get to know one another, share their expectations and begin building a supportive learning environment. The sessions also introduced the objectives of the project, the roles of the partner organisations and the main themes that would be explored during the mobility.
The opening day created a positive atmosphere of cooperation, inclusion and intercultural exchange. For several participants, this was their first experience of travelling abroad for an educational activity, making the welcome and initial group-building activities especially important.
During the following days, participants will develop their knowledge and skills in areas including European values, civic participation, inclusion, accessibility, digital collaboration, environmental responsibility and project development.
