The final three days of the Erasmus+ mobility in Komotini brought together project evaluation, strategic planning, reflection and recognition of learning. Participants moved from developing ideas to assessing their quality, presenting them publicly and contributing to the future direction of Association Aries.
Day 8: Evaluating and Pitching Project Ideas
On Day 8, participants were introduced to the main criteria used to assess Erasmus+ project proposals, including relevance, quality of implementation, impact and sustainability.
Working in peer-evaluation panels, the groups reviewed one another’s draft concepts, assigned scores and provided structured feedback. This gave participants the opportunity to look at project ideas from an evaluator’s perspective and identify both strengths and areas requiring improvement.
The teams then revised their proposals and prepared short pitch presentations. During the pitching exercise, participants presented their objectives, target groups, planned activities and expected impact, while receiving feedback on both the content of their ideas and their presentation skills.
Day 9: Learners Contribute to Association Aries’ Long-Term Strategy
The ninth day focused on Erasmus+ accreditation and long-term organisational development.
Participants explored the purpose of Erasmus+ accreditation and examined the main sections of the application framework, including strategic priorities, objectives, planned activities, impact, monitoring and evaluation.
They then contributed directly to the development of the Association Aries Strategic Framework 2025–2030. Group work focused on key priorities such as:
- inclusion and support for people with fewer opportunities;
- digitalisation and competence development;
- European values, democracy and civic participation;
- environmental responsibility and sustainable development;
- international cooperation.
The ideas and priorities developed by the participants were later reflected in the organisation’s Erasmus+ accreditation framework, ensuring that the future strategy of Association Aries was informed not only by management, but also by the experiences and learning needs of its community.
Day 10: Reflection, Recognition and Official Closing
The final day provided space to review the complete learning journey and reflect on the knowledge, skills and experiences gained during the ten-day programme.
Participants shared their most important learning outcomes through evaluation activities and a final sharing circle. They reflected on their progress in project development, digital collaboration, intercultural communication, inclusion, European values and sustainable practices.
The mobility concluded with an official closing ceremony hosted by the Directorate of Secondary Education of Rodopi. Participants received certificates recognising their involvement and learning achievements, followed by group photographs, informal conversations and the exchange of contacts for possible future cooperation.
The final three days marked the conclusion of the learning programme, but also created a basis for continued cooperation, future project development and the further internationalisation of Association Aries.
